Südafrika
bietet in kultureller Hinsicht eine enorme Spannweite. Kultur
Interessierte, sollten genügend Zeit einplanen oder eine
spezielle Kultur reise buchen. Neben dem riesigen Spektrum an
Museen und historischen Schauplätzen bieten auch Südafrika's
Theater und Konzerte eine reichhaltige Palette an Sehenswertem.
Die kulturelle Vielfalt wider-spiegelt sich auch in den Sprachen
und Dialekten wieder. Neben Afrikaans und Englisch gehören
noch 11 weitere Sprachen zu den offiziellen Landessprachen. Auch
immer mehr Touristen zieht es in die Natur und Wildschutzparks
von Südafrika. Am bekanntesten wohl der Kruger National Park.
Neben diesem Park zählen wir heute über 16 weitere Nationalparks
und über 118 Provinzialparks die zusammen eine Fläche
von über 80'000 km’ abdedecken, das entspricht fast
der doppelten Fläche der Schweiz. Die meisten dieser staatlichen
oder privaten Naturschutzgebiete sind touristisch erschlossen
und bieten nebst Übernachtung auch eine Vielzahl an Erholung's
und Abenteuer möglichkeiten an.
South Africa covers a variety of different
cultures. People who are interested in the this side of Africa
should book tours which focus specificaly on the cultural diversity.
Besides the wide range of museums and historical places there
is also Theatre, Concerts and Landscape Sites. The cultural side
is offered in English, Afrikaans and 11 other African languages.
A tourist favourite is the nature and wildlife parks. The most
populr being the Krugar National Park. There are also 16 National
Parks and 118 provincial park whcich together have a surface area
of more than 80 000 square km. (This is almost twice the size
of Switzerland) . There are a lot of possibilites for accomodation,
holiday adventures as well as health Spa's . Most of the national
and private parks are all open to the tourists.

angezogen fühlen. Das Klima im Südlichen Afrika ist

im Südlichen Afrika, viele von Ihnen sind auch nur zu Fuß
passierbar. Die von Touristen normalerweise per Auto benutzten
Grenzübergänge sind in der Regel einer festen Blockzeit
unterstell. Das Strassennetz von Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe,
Mozambique und Tanzania ist nicht überall asphaltiert. Fahren
Sie daher langsamer als gesetzlich vorgeschrieben und achten Sie
besonders auf die sehr tiefen Schlaglöcher. Für den
Besuch einzelner Gebiete, Parks ist der Einsatz eines 4x4 Fahrzeuges

South Africa is a country with unlimited
possibilities. Many Europeans are intrigued with the country and
its diverse cultures, they are drawn to it like a magnet. The
climate in South Africa is very different from most climates in

There are a lot of bordering countries to South Africa, some of
which can only be accessed by foot. The larger bordering countries
can only be accessed at certain times. The road network from Namibia,
Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Tanzania are not all tarred.
Slower driving is recommended in order to avoid potholes in the
roads. In some areas a 4x4 Motor vehicle are necessary. More specific
